Join our dynamic supply chain team in Dubai as a Procurement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing lifecycle, ensuring that all materials meet technical specifications and budgetary requirements. You will serve as a vital link between external suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete purchase order process, from initial placement to final delivery.
- Develop strong partnerships with vendors to facilitate smooth execution and resolve logistical challenges.
- Gather market intelligence and assess supplier risks to maintain a resilient supply chain.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics departments to synchronize procurement with production demands.
- Maintain data integrity within SAP and SAP Ariba, ensuring all schedules are up to date.
- Assist the finance team in resolving invoice discrepancies and streamlining payment workflows.
Professional Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent years of professional experience).
- Minimum of one year of experience in a sourcing or buying capacity, preferably within the heavy industry or energy sector.
- Solid understanding of MRP principles and hands-on experience with SAP systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Current residency in the UAE with the ability to work onsite.
